Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
Tab Trade - The Short VersionTabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. That last detail matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice. What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is solid. The SoftwareAvailable: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.Accounts and PricingThree tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.InfrastructureThe speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.SafetyThis is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment. What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that works is your call.Deposit BonusTab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit. The full review, covering all the details before you open an account, is at website tradetheday.com.
